Sneak Peek into My Latest Beauty Photography Test Shoot with Model Cecilia Gamas in London

Welcome to my latest beauty photography test shoot in London! My name is Chloe Kempson, and I'm a professional beauty photographer based in London.

For this shoot, I collaborated with a talented team of professionals, including makeup artist Gina Parr from W Management, hair stylist Simon Blay, and retoucher Marina Karaskevich. Our model for the day was Cecilia Gamas, represented by PRM agency, who was visiting London from Brazil for Fashion Week.

As a beauty photographer in London, I know the importance of creating images that capture the essence of natural beauty and real skin. That's why for this shoot, we aimed to create a natural, summery and peachy vibe despite being in blacked out windowless photography studio in central London, in the depths of winter!

To do this, I used hard light angled down at 45 degree angle towards Cecilia to give that harsh sunlight effect that you would expect to see at a beach late afternoon on a sunny day.

By using Profoto strobes combined with a zoom reflector, I was able to create a sunny light that gave our images a warm, natural feel. Our retoucher Marina delivered the final touches to enhance the effect as seen on the images below!
